Margiela has officially come to the end of the road with Maison Martin Margiela, which has decided not to appoint a successor, WWD reports. Instead, executives say the label will be run by a team of designers.
"We want to stay avant-garde, and provocative, but without a new creative director," Giovanni Pungetti, chief executive officer of Maison Martin Margiela, told WWD. "It's a challenge. We know this. We will probably make mistakes, but the most important thing is to learn from them."
